In 1991, Hisham started at Saudi Aramco Oil Company. He worked in Computer Applications Department as Systems Analyst focusing and supporting the Financial Systems such as General Ledger and Account payables until year 1999. After that, He relocated to Vela International Marine LTD in Dhahran, KSA; subsidiary of Saudi Aramco Oil Company - Contracting Unit as the lead in specialized contracts specific to Commercial Dry-Docking activities related complex deals until 2005. Then relocated to Supervise Vela’s Contracting Unit in Dubai for a year. From 2006 up to 2007, He relocated to SPOL office Saudi Petroleum Overseas Limited in London with the Transportation Department that handles all logistics of Saudi CIF Crud Sales as Crude Chartering and Scheduling Specialist. In 2007 until 2014, He relocated to Dubai with Transportation function from London to Vela as Group Chartering Manager, managing Chartering desks to provide tanker marine transportation for the movement of Crude Oil. 2014 until 2015 upon conclusion of the merge between Bahri and Vela, He was selected to be the Head of Bahri Chartering Function. 2015 up to date He was promoted to Bahri Oil VP for the Commercial & Operations, assuming the role of strategic development of the Bahri Fleets, including VLCC expansion plan.
